This recipe can be drunk cold, room temperature, heated slightly, or warmed right the way up – you make the call. The same goes for the sweetener.  Feel free to use more or less, honey, maple syrup, agave, or coconut sugar.


PREP TIME:  2 Minutes

COOKING TIME:  2 – 4 Minutes

DIETARY CONSIDERATION:  Raw, Vegan, Vegetarian, Paleo, Sugar Free, Dairy Free, Soy Free, Gluten Free


  • 1 1/2 cups Almond Milk

  • 1/4 cup Warm Water

  • 3 tbsp Raw Cacao

  • 1 1/2 tbsp Honey (or more or less to taste)

  • 1 tsp Maca Powder

  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp Cayenne (or less if you don’t do spice)

  • Pinch of Sea Salt


  1. Mix cacao powder with warm water to make a thin paste, then mix the paste with the other ingredients. I like to slowly heat this up on stove, making sure that the mixture doesn’t get too warm, keeping it around 115.
